My Emergency – User Guide
My Emergency is beautifully designed and is simple and easy to use, yet is a versatile and powerful travelling tool. This user guide will take you step by step through the registration, setup and the key app functions. Installation
Once to have downloaded and installed My Emergency it is important that you allow the app to access your location. This is required for My Emergency to fully function, pin pointing your location when calling emergency services and searching your local embassy at home or abroad.
Your location will never be monitored, stored or shared with anyone else and will only ever be used when required for My Emergency to function in saving your butt!

Registration
You now have access to limited app features. To make full use of My Emergency’s features you are required to register and login. This process will only need to be done once and My Emergency will remain logged in, however your registration/login details may be changed at any time.
Tap yes to register, then in the following screen tap ‘New User, Register Now’.

The registration screen doubles as your ‘My Profile’ feature, so the details you enter here will be stored to the app and recalled when you tap ‘My Profile’ from the home screen. Your name, email address, date of birth and nationality are compulsory fields, all other details are optional. Remember though, My Emergency is your ‘go-to’ place in an emergency, so this is a great place to safely and securely store your personal and insurance details. Tap ‘Save’ and you’re done! My Emergency is registered and ready to use!


My Profile
If you need to recall your personal profile then you simply tap ‘My Profile’ from the home screen. Here you can view all of your details in one screen and if you choose to, update your details or add any information that you may not have added at registration, a selfie, address, phone number or insurance details by tapping ‘Edit’.

My Medical File
My Emergency will safely and conveniently store your doctor’s details, blood group and any allergies or conditions that you may have. These details can be quickly and easily retrieved by tapping ‘My Medical File’ from the home screen. If you need to change or update your medical details then simply tap ‘My Medical File’ from the home screen, tap edit and save your changes once you’re finish.


Emergency Services
No matter where you are in the world, the local emergency services are only 3 taps away. From the ‘Home Screen’ tap ‘Call Ambulance’, ‘Call Fire’ or ‘Call Police’ and My Emergency will zoom in to your precise location, displaying your current physical address. Simply tap the green ‘Call’ button at the bottom of the screen to be connected and tell the emergency services exactly where your emergency is.


Call My Embassy
Register your country of residence in ‘My Profile’ and My Emergency will display your national embassies or consulates within the country that you’re standing in, just by tapping ‘Call My Embassy’ from the ‘Home Screen’. From the list tap the embassy in the city that you’d like to contact and My Emergency will pinpoint the location on a map, display the address and give you the option to call or get directions to your embassy.


You can even search for any embassy in any country in the world by tapping ‘Call My Embassy’ from the ‘Home Screen’, then tapping ‘Search’ on the results screen. Enter the country that you would like to find the embassy of and the country that you would like to find the embassy in, then ‘Search’. It’s that easy!


Emergency Contact
Store your key emergency contacts together in one place, quick and easy to find. Tap ‘Emergency Contacts’ from the ‘Home Screen’ and tap ‘Add new contact’. You can add a profile pic, name and a phone number or search a contact directly from your phone’s contacts list.


To call an emergency contact simply tap ‘Emergency Contacts’ from the ‘Home Screen’. From your emergency contact’s list tap the green call button of the contact you would like to call.
Tap your contact’s name and you will see their profile pic and phone number. Here you can edit your contact’s details or connect a call by tapping the green call button.
